The Minimalist's House

Midcentury house built in 1938 as part of a condominium community underwent extensive renovations. The 43hundred project team optimized the home’s livable space by reconfiguring the existing layout to create an open concept. The kitchen’s modern white cabinets, and oversized island that allows for extra storage and eliminate the need for a traditional dining area. The ability to reserve the home’s original character by restoring the dark exposed joists, and wooden stairs. Now every floor showcases thoughtful details that blends modern and original. The polished tiled floor offer warmth through radiant heating while continuing the home’s abundance of modern design and rustic aesthetics. The reconfiguration of the Master Bathroom allowed for the installation of modern amenities which resulted in stunning transformation of the space.
